Body Found In Christiansted Wharf

ST. CROIX, USVI – On January 14 at around 9:09 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received a call of a body floating in Christiansted Wharf. Officers traveled to the area and observed a motionless, older, Caucasian male in the water. Emergency Medical Technicians on the scene retrieved the victim from the water and determined he had expired.

Officers found no apparent signs of foul play. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Detectives are reaching out to the community for information on what happened.
