Man Found with Firearms and Ammunition

ST. CROIX, USVI – On May 29 at around 8:36 a.m., Michael Cruz, age 21 of Sion Farm was arrested by police, charged with Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm.

During the execution of a search warrant, Cruz was found in possession of two firearms, two loaded magazines, and additional ammunition. Cruz was placed under arrest as a result.
Bail for Cruz was set at $50,000, no 10% provision. He was unable to post bail and was subsequently turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advice of Rights hearing.
