Two Arrested and Charged with Robbery First

The Virgin Islands Police Department arrested two suspects in connection with the robbery of Craig “Serani” Marsh and two other persons that occurred near a Christiansted hotel on January 5.
Arrested were Richard W. Motta and Gregory Hodge a/k/a/ D.J. Avalanche. They were both charged with Robbery in the First Degree. According to police 50-year-old Motta, a native of St. Croix, whose address is listed at Hospital Street in Christiansted, was arrested Thursday, Jan 15, at the Cyril King Airport on St. Thomas. Hodge, 30, a native of St. Thomas and a resident of Tutu Highrise, was taken into custody at his place of employment. Both suspects were taken to St. Croix and their bail was set at $135,000 each. The pair was remanded to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
