Man on House Arrest Arrested for Disturbance of the Peace by Threats

Police on St. Croix arrested 40-year-old Copley “Timmy” Evans of Estate Whim in Frederiksted and Charged him with Contempt of Court and Disturbance of the Peace after he made threats toward a female victim.
At the time of his arrest Evans was on House Arrest Monday through Sunday 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. by order of the court after he was arrested on May 28 and charged with Kidnapping Mayhem, Disturbance of the Peace by Threats and Grand Larceny in connection with a domestic violence case involving a female that occurred on May 24.
Police said Evans threatened the same female on September 19 and September 30 after he spotted her driving on the roadway.
Police said Evans made threatening gestures toward the woman and tried to block her in with his car.
Evans was held without bail and remanded to the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility.
The court will consider the revocation of Evans House Arrest bail conditions police said.
