Vendor Permits for Festival Parades are Available in St. Croix

Territorial Chief Novelle E. Francis, Jr. announces that the Virgin Islands Police Department, Special Operations Bureau, St. Croix District will provide Vendors and anyone interested in the sale of food, drinks or goods with a Special Permit throughout the Crucian Christmas Festival Children’s and Adult’s Parades.
In order to obtain the Special Permit(s), the Public is urged to visit the Special Operations Bureau’s Office at Patrick Sweeney Headquarters, Estate Golden Grove commencing December 12, 2005 to December 30, 2005, weekdays Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
Vendors must present a Vendor’s License, Valid Health Card and Health Permit. Vendors are reminded that no permission will be granted for anyone to conduct business on Private Property unless otherwise approved by the Property Owner. Inspections by Police Personnel and Health Inspectors will be conducted along the Parade Route to ensure compliance.
The cost for a Placement permit is Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per day. The cost for a liquor permit is One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per day. For more information, please contact Lieutenant David Magras at (340) 778-9757 or Sergeant Carlos Rosario at (340) 778-2244, Ext. 4545 or 4544.
