ST. THOMAS – On Tuesday, December 04, 2007 at approximately 3:54pm, while conducting a routine inspection, police discovered the body of an unidentified Black male in the area adjacent to building D in the Bovoni housing community. Officers from the Special Operations Unit were searching the area for suspected marijuana cultivation plots and abandoned dogs kept in the area.

Officers noticed a foul order while conducting their inspection and discovered the buried body of a male. Police believe the unidentified male has been deceased for at least a week. Official cause and approximate time of death will be determined by the Medical Examiners Office. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of this individual is underway.
