Traffic/Parking Restrictions - St. Croix Festival Kick-Off Parade

ST. CROIX DISTRICT – The Virgin Islands Police Department is advising the motoring public of the following parking restrictions and street closings scheduled for the
Festival Kick-Off Parade December 1, 2007 in Christiansted.
PARKING RESTRICTIONS
Effective Saturday, December 1, 2007 from 5:00pm until the event’s conclusion, the following parking restrictions will be in effect:
- NO PARKING on King Street or Company Street from Market Street to the Wharf area.
- NO PARKING on Church Street, between King and Company Streets
- NO PARKING on Hospital Street, between King and Company Streets.
- NO PARKING on Queen Street, between Queen Cross and King Cross Streets.
Any unauthorized vehicle found parked in the restricted areas will be ticketed and/or towed at the vehicle owner’s expense. Any owner or driver of a towed vehicle should contact the VIPD’s Ancilmo Marshall Command at 773-2530 for retrieval or other information.
VEHICULAR MOVEMENT RESTRICTIONS
- Eastbound traffic into Christiansted Town will be r-routed onto Market Street or North onto Smith Street towards Watergut
