"No Parking Restriction" for Tempo Concert on Thursday October 27, 2005, Frederiksted, St. Croix

Territorial Police Chief Novelle E. Francis, Jr., wishes to inform the motoring and general public of the following no parking restrictions scheduled for the Tempo Musical Concert at the Ann Abramson Pier - St. Croix, on Thursday, October 27, 2005. The no parking restrictions will be in effect from 8:00 AM until 12:00 Midnight on the following streets:

  • No Parking on King Street from the intersection of King Street and Market Street to Lagoon Street;

  • No Parking on Custom House Street from Strand Street to the intersection of King and Custom House Street (both side of the Street);

  • No Parking in or around Buddhoe Park during this period;

  • No Parking will be allowed on Strand Street from 4:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight due to construction and for safety precautions.

The “no parking restrictions” will be in place throughout the day and evening before and after the Tempo Concert. The no parking measures are to ensure access and egress for security and emergency services vehicles.

Territorial Police Chief Novelle E. Francis, Jr. extends his thanks the Community for its cooperation during this event, as you have done so in the past. He stated, “I and Police Commissioner Lewis wish you a safe and enjoyable evening of music and song.”

Any vehicle (s) found parked in prohibited areas will be ticketed and/or towed away at the owner’s expense. Owners or drivers finding that his/her vehicle has been towed should contact the Wilbur Francis Command at Mars Hill at 772- 2800, 778-2211 or 911 for further information. Territorial Chief Francis and the Police Department regrets any inconveniences this may cause you and the motoring public. Thanking you again for you usual cooperation.
