St. Croix Deputy Police Chief Herminio Velazquez announced today parking restrictions and street closings in effect on Saturday, October 7, 2006 in the town of Christiansted.

The area of Prince Street, between Queen and Company Streets, will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to accommodate the St. Mary’s School Annual Blessing of the Pets.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes until the scheduled event is completed.
