Territorial Police Chief Novelle E. Francis, Jr., announced today parking restrictions and street closings in effect on Sunday, September 24, 2006 in the town on Frederiksted. The following areas will be closed from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., while a local juice festival sponsored by Union Members in Action is underway:

• Custom House Street, between King and Strand streets;
• The parking lot located between the Oscar Henry Building (Old Custom House) and the UCA Building; and
• Strand Street to King Street in the vicinity of Buddhoe Park.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes until the scheduled event is completed.
