Vehicle Tint Informational Session – Sunny Isles Shopping Center

Police Commissioner Elton Lewis and the Virgin Islands Police Department’s Traffic Division, cordially invites the motoring public to an informational session on the new vehicle tint law. This informational session is being held to provide you with information on the tint law and its implementation.

This informational session will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2005 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Wendy’ Parking Lot at the Sunny Isles Shopping Center. At that time you will be able to have your vehicle windows tested for the proper tint level for compliance with the Law. The new tint law will be in effect beginning September 6th, 2005 and we want you to take this is opportunity to measure the level of light transmittance through your vehicle’s windows. By testing your vehicle windows’ at this time, you may avoid compliance problems later.

Please come out on Saturday, August 28, 2005 check your windows and get other valuable information on the operation of your vehicle on the roads of the Virgin Islands. Commissioner Lewis added, “Join us in our efforts to help you to meet the compliance standards of the tint law before September 6, 2005.”
