Police on St. Thomas are investigating a case involving two minors which was reported to them on Tuesday.

Chief Rodney Querrard, of the St. Thomas/St. John/Water Island district said Tuesday that a mother reported to police that her 10-year-old daughter was inappropriately touched by another minor on school grounds.

The case was turned over to the Juvenile Bureau for further investigation.

Querrard said, because of the ages of the person involved police can not provide any further details to the public or media.
