St. Croix, USVI - On Saturday, January 21, 2023, citizens called 911 at 9:42 p.m., reporting multiple shots being fired in the Sunny Isle Shopping Center Parking Lot, vicinity of the K-Mart store. Officers along with the Criminal Investigations
Bureau Detectives, arrived on the scene and discovered an unresponsive black male in a vehicle who appeared to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. Emergency Medical Technicians on the scene were unable to detect any of the male’s
vital signs. The victim succumbed to his injuries sustained from the gunshot wounds on the scene.
The victim has been identified by next of kin as 20-year-old, Andy Christian.
