St. John, USVI - An armed robbery at Imperial Jewelers in Mongoose Junction on St. John was reported to the 911 Emergency Call Center at 1:13 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

Preliminary investigation revealed that three black males wearing bandanas across their faces and hoodies, dressed in dark clothing came into the store with guns and stole jewelry. They broke the glass casing containing the jewelry with a hammer, took the jewelry and fled by foot towards Northshore Road. No one was injured during this incident. The dollar amount of stolen jewelry is unknown at this time.
