Man Faces Domestic Violence Charges After He Attacked Female Victim

Arrested: Clinton Whyte, Sr., age 34.

St. Thomas, USVI - On Thursday, January 12, 2023, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Mr. Clinton Whyte, Sr., a 34-year-old male, turned himself into the Domestic Violence Unit to face charges of Assault in the Second Degree DV, Simple Assault DV, Unlawful Entry, Destruction of Property DV, and Disturbance of the Peace DV.

The victim stated that on Monday, January 2, 2023, while walking towards her residence, Mr. Whyte attacked her and followed her into her residence where he slapped her in the face, bit her about her face and arms causing multiple bruises on her body, and that he also strangled her.
