St. Thomas, USVI - On Saturday, December 31, 2022, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Mr. Royd Thompson, Jr., an 18-year-old black male, turned himself into the Domestic Violence Unit to face charges of Assault in the First (w/ Mayhem) and Third Degree DV, Simple Assault DV and Disturbance of the Peace, DV.

The female victim stated that on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at about 7:30 p.m., she was at the emergency room when an altercation took place between her and her two cousins.

The victim identified Mr. Thompson, as one of two assailants that attacked her in the parking lot of the Schneider Regional Medical Center, which resulted in her receiving multiple injuries about her face and body.
