St. John, USVI - On Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at approximately 12:06 p.m., the owner of Café Roma Restaurant, was present at the Leander Jurgen Command to report that his business was burglarized, and several items were removed from his business.

Surveillance footage was reviewed in reference to this matter which displayed Alan Beyer leaving the vicinity of the business with a plastic bag that was identified as a bag that Café Roma provides to its to-go customers.

On Friday, December 16, 2022, contact was made with Beyer at the Bureau of Corrections located at the Alexander Farrelly Justice Complex where a warrant was executed for this Burglary. Beyer was booked, processed and unable to post bail, he was then turned back over to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advice of rights hearing.
