Stabbing Incident in the Vicinity of the Market Square

Victim: Rolston "Roscoe" Steven.

St. Thomas, USVI - On Sunday, October 23, 2022, at about 11:05 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center dispatched officers to the Market Square area of the bungalow in reference to a stabbing.

Contact was made with a male witness who was present during the incident who stated that the victim is known as "Roscoe".

He explained to officers that he was sleeping while he observed a silhouette walking towards Roscoe from the southern side of the bungalow and that he saw the individual stab Roscoe twice around his neck with an object.

Contact was made with Roscoe at the Roy Lester Schneider Medical Center where he declined to provide a statement to the VIPD.

Roscoe was later identified as Rolston Steven. Investigation revealed that Mr. Steven sustained a small laceration under his chin on the (left side).
