Peter’s Rest, St. Croix - On Thursday, October 6, 2022, members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau and Marine Unit executed an arrest warrant issued by Magistrate Judge Yolan Brow-Ross for the arrest of David Armstrong. Mr. Armstrong was arrested for brandishing a firearm outside a bar in the Peter’s Rest area, in addition to possession of ammunition and carry of a firearm openly or concealed.

On July 2, 2021, the 911 Emergency Call Center was notified of a discharging of shots in the Peter’s Rest area, where several spent casings were recovered. Information obtained during an investigation revealed that Mr. Armstrong was in possession of a firearm and was arrested without incident at his residence. He was mirandized and declined to give a statement. He was booked, and bail was set at $100,000.00. Unable to post bail, Mr. Armstrong was remanded to the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility pending his Advice of Rights Hearing scheduled for Friday, October 7, 2022.
