Kingshill, St. Croix - On Sunday July 17, 2022, at 1:46 a.m. The 911 Emergency Call Central dispatched units to investigate a shooting that happened at a dance party event, “Tsunami,” held at the La Raine Shopping Center parking lot, Kingshill. 

An adult female victim was transported by ambulance and an adult male victim was transported by private vehicle to the Juan F. Luis Hospital. Preliminary investigation revealed that shots were discharged during the event striking both victims.  

The male victim suffered a non-fatal single gunshot wound to his upper right shoulder and remains in stable condition. The female victim sustained one single gunshot wound to her chin and is in critical condition.
