ST. CROIX, USVI – On January 22, at 11:34 p.m., personnel from the Juan Francisco Luis Hospital & Medical Center reported a gunshot victim to the 911 Emergency Call Center.

The male victim told police that he was driving with his friends west on the Northside Road, in the vicinity of the John F. Kennedy Terrance housing community, when they heard several shots being fired.

When they got to the Five Corners intersection, the driver realized that he was injured. He then switched seats with his friend who took him to the hospital, where he was treated for a gunshot wound to his right forearm.

None of the parties observed where the shots were coming from or who may have shot at them.
