ST. THOMAS, USVI – On December 5, at 11:43 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center dispatched officers to Brookman Road to investigate an apparent shooting incident. Security personnel in the area contacted police after discovering evidence of a shooting and blood. At 11:50 p.m., the Emergency Call Center received a call from the Roy Lester Schneider Regional Medical Center reporting a male gunshot victim who came in for treatment.

The victim and a friend, while leaving the area, observed an unknown suspect driving a white vehicle alongside their vehicle when the suspect opened fire.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about this shooting to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau (340) 774-2211 extension 5610, or Crime Stoppers USVI at 1 (800) 222-TIPS.
