The Special Operations Bureau is responsible performing specialized, selective enforcement duties mainly focused at meeting service demands exceeding the capabilities of the regular Patrol bureau. The Bureau contains such units as Canine Corps, Police Auxiliary, Tactical Unit, and Dive Team. The following Units shall be consolidated into Special Operations; School Security Bureau, K-9 Unit, and Marine Unit. This Bureau also performs other specialized functions, such as removal of abandoned vehicles, security plans for special events, etc.
