The Insular Investigations Bureau is responsible for the collection, processing and dissemination of intelligence data, and for investigating specific major crimes such as, white-collar crime, organized crime, terrorism and subversive activity, and other such cases assigned to it by the Police Commissioner. Insular Investigations is also responsible for investigating and reporting to the Commissioner on all criminal matters directed to the Police Commissioner by the Governor.
