Upper Love Man Charged with Domestic Violence Burglary

ST. CROIX, USVI – 40-year-old Nigel J. Hazel of Upper Love was arrested on February 22, at roughly 7:31 p.m. He was charged with 2nd Degree Burglary, Domestic Violence.

On February 20, at approximately 12 p.m., Hazel entered the female victim’s residence without her permission. Upon entering her residence, Hazel kicked in the bedroom door and destroyed items inside the residence.
Hazel was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections without bail, as per the territory’s domestic violence laws, pending his Advice of Rights hearing.
