• Three Scenic Island Districts

  The VIPD has two islands districts:

  • St Thomas/Water Island/St. John
  • St. Croix

  Officers may live and work in the district of their choice (provided manpower positions are available in the chosen district).
  
  Currently the VIPD has approximately 190 sworn personnel on St. Croix and 220 in the St. Thomas/Water Island/St. John district.
